I love this combo map/weekend itinerary by Pier Gustafson. It's pocket size and has a TON of info on it. I would probably have the map be the two middle sections, with a welcome note on the first square and the itinerary on the last one. So do you like the pocket-size fold out map or this one better?

Very cool. And I think I like your idea for the layout, as well. The blue and white have a very nautical feel, which I love, too.
I think the layout would work, though I wish I could see what was written on the fourth panel on the example. Maybe I'm forgetting something.
