Oh, ha! I completely can relate. I know everyone says you'll just "know" when you find "the one" (dress that is, not future husband,) but when I went dress shopping, I had FIVE "the one"s. Narrowing down to one was pretty difficult, but I did absolutely love the one I chose. If I'd had a bigger budget though, I'd have loved to indulge in two.
And that skirt is beautiful and so elegant. It would look stunning in white or ivory with a sleeveless shell.
I probably tried on 75-100 dresses when I was engaged, and with each one I'd envision an entirely different wedding. Oh, I loved that process. This outfit is just gorgeous!

Yes, you were engaged though...is it stupid for me to try on that many dresses? Please say no... :) Bride 2.0 needs a great dress too!
