Anybody know who this fabric is by? I've seen it a million times, but when I saw it again this time, I realized that it was just what I was looking for. I'm trying to bring a couple of different paint colors together, so this would be perfect! If I'm not mistaken this in an Anthro piece? Am I crazy? Do they make all their fabric or do they use different designers?

Help!

Dress me up...

Remember the promise you made to me about not giving up on me and all my mind-changing? Keep that in mind...

I want this dress. I need it. I must have it. It doesn't exist. Her name is Daphne and she's beautiful, isn't she? Couldn't you just imagine her on the beach? There is the small problem in the fact that the Daphne is no longer made, but have no fear...we have a wonderful friend who is a super talented tailor and I think he could make this in his sleep. After scouring the web for these pictures, I also found two other woman who've loved Daphne, but had to have her made as well. They're both beautiful {Darling Dexter and Jamie}!

So, I think this one is it...really. No, really! I promise...

{all the above from here via here}

Oh and this is the fabric that I want to have the dress made in, I think. I love dotted swiss and this dotted organza (not sure what it actually is, that's my best guess) would make a great beach dress, right? I would also do lawn or linen, maybe.

Dream house...

{How great is that fabric on the bench?}

{I wouldn't ever be inside. I would throw a dinner party every night!}

There are more pictures of this fantastic house here...

Rubie Green

M.A. Belle is a great blog that I came across a couple of months ago and while it's not updated everyday, her fabric line completely makes up for that. Rubie Green is based out of NYC and is a very green choice for very fashionable fabric. After getting her degree is textile design, Michele Adams worked for Domino (Lucky girl!), but while working there she realized that there were no "green" fabric choices, so in 2007 she left and started trying to fill the gap. The upholstery weight fabrics are 100% organic cotton, use non-toxic, water based inks free of VOCs and are all made in the US. The line isn't very big yet, but I'm in love with most of them already!
