Might just turn on the oven for this...

{from here via Bakerella}
It's still really hot here in AL, but these cookies might be worth turning on the oven to make. The recipe is from Bakerella and I think it looks so yummy. We might make these this weekend if it rains like I think it might. Instead of peanuts though, I have some Heath bits that would be mighty tasty on there. I have the only child that doesn't love peanut butter. She likes the taste, but won't eat a pb&j for a million bucks! Weirdo.

BTW, if you don't read Bakerella, you should. It's fun!!

Etsy Find #3

Ah letterpress...you already know how I feel about it. I love letterpress coasters more than I probably should and it's one of the first projects I want to do when I get a press. I came across 12fifteen, while searching for letterpress coasters to have on hand for hostess gifts for holiday party invites. I hit the motherload! As luck would have it, they're also having an End-of-Summer sale on certain note cards and other goodies.

What's not to like about this shop? Check it out!

{These beautiful notes are on sale for $6 for 5!}

{These make me want to write somebody a note}

{How can you not love these?}

Etsy Find #2

Here is my second Etsy find of the day. This darling shop out of NYC has been floating around the blog world lately and for good reason...everything they make is darling. I want one of everything, especially the silhouette cards and those birdie thank you notes.

Enjoy the paper goodness!

{How cute is that baby??}

Etsy Find #1

Ok, I've having a bit of blogger block this week, so I've decided to showcase a couple of recent Etsy faves that I've found. Ginny from Virginia Geiger Jewels makes beautiful, affordable jewelry for everyday and she does wedding pieces as well. She's also super nice and accommodating to boot! She made a special trip to the post office the day I bought them to send the earrings I ordered for a friend 2nd day air, so they'd get here in time for her party. She also wraps, so I don't have to do anything when I get them in the mail tomorrow! Check her out when you get a chance. Here are some of my favorite pieces, including the earrings that I bought for Britt!

{I bought these for my friend's 30th birthday tomorrow}

Not much to say today...

I'm still getting over my illness. I can't stop coughing, but I'm much better than I was.

I don't have a post for today, but I wanted to say Thank You to the people who've been reading and leaving comments. It means a lot to me that some people actually read what I'm writing.

In the next couple of weeks/months, I'm going to be taking on some really fun projects and have some big news both personal and including a small business venture. So, please stay tuned and give me a chance...to know me is to love me. Also, don't be shocked when the blog title changes in a week or so. It has to do with the news I'll be sharing in a couple of weeks. The content will stay the same for the most part, but the name suits the new direction more.

ps~ One great thing that happened this week is that I won the auction for this! Best money I've spent all month, probably all year. I can't wait to see what she comes up with for my Christmas Open House. It's quite the event, if I do say so myself. :) I hope that my donation helps the Nielson's out in some way, even if it's only a little bit. I'm continued to be amazed by their family's strength and faith.

Have a great week!

Cutest Obama Supporter Ever...

{get your own here}
Seriously...how cute is my sweet daughter? She had a bad day at school today, so the shirt was used to cheer her up and it looks like it worked! I usually wouldn't post a picture of her on here, but she wanted to be on Mommy's blog, so here she is!
